    The American Red Cross serving Central and South Texas in partnership with the Austin Public Library invite you to celebrate local heroes in our community and experience 138 years of American Red Cross history through a curated exhibit showcasing the organization’s humanitarian efforts. The Heroes The following Chambers of Commerce have nominated and selected heroes who embody the humanitarian spirit through service to their members and our community: • Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce • Greater Austin Asian Chamber of Commerce • Greater Austin Black Chamber of Commerce • Greater Austin Hispanic Chamber of Commerce • Austin LGBT Chamber of Commerce • Austin Young Chamber

    Admission is FREE Complimentary emergency preparedness kit and (2) drink tickets to the first 100 individuals to register. Parking: There are a few parking options available for guests attending our Real Heroes event: The Central Library's paid parking garage is located on West Avenue. Please take the elevator to the 1st floor of the library to the Special Event Center. Silicon Labs located at 400 W Cesar Chavez St. has offered a limited number of FREE parking spots in their parking garage located off San Antonio St. Parking availability will be on a first come, first serve basis. Please tell the attendant that you are a guest of the Real Heroes event. In case these parking garages are full, the nearest public parking is available in the Seaholm District. You may use either metered street parking along Power Plant Dr. or the parking garage located on Walter Seaholm Dr.
