  • The Austin LGBT Chamber of Commerce Foundation, a nonprofit corporation based in Austin, Texas, was founded in 2016 with one goal in mind – helping members of the local LGBTQ community gain knowledge and skills.

How will the foundation do that? By providing education grants to deserving LGBT residents of the Austin metro area so that they can develop skills and become more successful. These scholarships will allow any LGBT person of any age to, for instance, study nursing, learn about auto repair, sharpen business expertise or get their bachelors degree at accredited institutions and other 501(c)3 training organizations.

Through this effort, the ALGBTCC Foundation aims to empower members of the local LGBT community and build a stronger community overall.

Leading the foundation as its founding board members are:

    Jeff Arnold, Chair
    Tony Halstead, Secretary
    Carlie Bittel, Treasurer

    Kelly Capps

    Brad Wisdom
