    A healthcare group in Austin by making biomedical interventions and services for sexual health and wellness accessible. We serve our patients with an amazing team of clinicians, staff and volunteers who dedicate their time and expertise to see patients within a combination of weekday and weekend hours. We removed the primary barriers to healthcare, lack of health insurance and/or personal income, by accepting both insured and uninsured patients and by providing services at no cost to the patient. This group is currently seeking a Board Relations Administrative Assistant who serves as a key member of the executive leadership team. The Board Relations Administrative Assistant will report to the Board Chair and work directly with the Board of Directors. You will be the first point of contact for members of the board for clinic and administrative staff concerning Board questions and requests. What you would do: • Establish working relationship with the Board Chair and Clinic leadership team to facilitate communication • Organize and maintain the Board calendar, including regularly scheduled meetings, committee meetings, and special events • Create and distribute Board meeting information packets with input from the Board Chair and other members as needed • Attend Board meetings and events and record meeting minutes • Record Board and committee meeting attendance • Maintain Board documents including bylaws, member agreements, meeting minutes, etc. • Coordinate special event logistics • Monitor and update progress on various Board projects and priorities • Establish needed organizational systems and processes How you describe your skills: • You have a passion and connection to the communities we serve • You are committed to your ethics and always do the “right” thing • You like to plan, but you are able to flexibly adapt to change when needed • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written), including listening as one of your key strengths • You possess strong organizational skills • You are able to maintain the highest levels of confidentiality • You are an exceptional relationship-builder with an ability to interact successfully with prominent community members and the highest levels of leadership in the Clinic • You have a positive, welcoming attitude • You have great attention to detail • You are adept in resolving competing demands • You value great benefits and a mission-driven work culture Your previous work life and education must include: • Advanced education certificate • Administrative experience (Minimum 5 Years) • Proficient using computer software applications including the MS Office suite of programs, commonly used project management software, etc. Your previous work life and education ideally include: • Experience working for a non-profit organization • Ability to work harmoniously with diverse groups of individuals • Ability to deal effectively with stress related to the changing organizational, personnel, and healthcare environment This job will be 10-15 hours per week with occasional spikes during events.
