Austin Pride Toastmasters (formerly AGLCC)
Founded in 2012, we are dedicated to creating a supportive environment for people to practice the art of public and impromptu speaking, leadership and delivering positive and effective feedback. You will learn to build your support network, self-confidence and have lots of fun. Although we're the only LGBTQ centered club, our Toastmasters Int'l chapter is one of over 50 in the Austin area. The Toastmasters program is is a self-paced learning structured offered in cost-effective club model. The key to success is your willingness to commit to your growth and development as you seek to hone skills that will benefit you in every area of your life.
Our meetings are held every 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month, 6:30-8:00 pm at Lifeworks, 835 N. Pleasant Valley Rd. (in East Austin). Our Facebook page encourages interested parties to post questions, communications, support, photos, updates for that are applicable to Toastmasters.
