    Monthly Luncheons

    Our monthly luncheons are your best opportunity to get to know other LGBT and LGBT-friendly business owners and professionals in Austin! Lunches occur on the first Tuesday of the month. Members can also sponsor evening meetings. Meeting sponsors are allowed to distribute promotional and marketing materials as well as give a short talk about their business.

    Monthly Networking Social

    Our monthly networking happy hours occur on the third Thursday of every other month and change location each time spotlighting a different member. It's your best opportunity to get to know other LGBT and LGBT-friendly busines owners and professionals in Austin.

    Biz Dev 101

    Our newest program, Biz Dev 101 occurs on the third Thursday of every other month. Hosted by a corporate member, Biz Dev 101 offers traning on a topic relevant to today's LGBT business owner or employee in a relaxed social environment that fosters networking.

    AGLCC Toastmasters

    In addition to our regular networking events, the AGLCC also sponsors two monthly Toastmasters meetings. Toastmasters is a great way to practice your public speaking skills, as well as meet other LGBT professionals. The AGLCC Toastmasters group is one of only three LGBT-focused groups in the world!

    Nonprofit Roundtable

    The AGLCC feels our LGBT nonprofits are an important part of the Central Texas community. This bi-annual summit will allow nonprofit members an opportinity to meet and trade best practices while initiaiting collaboration.

    Multi-Ethnic Chamber Alliance (MECA)

    The Multi-Ethnic Chamber Alliance (MECA) includes: the Greater Austin Asian Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Austin Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and the Capital City African American Chamber of Commerce. Currently, MECA has approximately 1,800 active members representing corporations, small businesses, non-profit organizations, and government agencies.

    The Alliance was developed by the City of Austin’s Economic Growth & Redevelopment Services Office (EGRSO) as a way to encourage the Multi-Ethnic Chambers to develop programs jointly, for greater dialogue, and to develop economies of scale. MECA members jointly plan, fund, and host three events a year as part of their individual city agreement. Annual events include a targeted industry-focused luncheon & forum, a career expo, and annual holiday celebration.

    Volunteer with the Chamber!

    There are many ways to get involved with the AGLCC as a volunteer! There's no better way to meet like-minded, quality individuals while helping your community. While any member of the LGBT community can apply to volunteer on any committee, leadership positions are limited to AGLCC members.
